Megumi Kato is the main heroine of Saekano. She is in the same class as Tomoya Aki, the protagonist of the story, but since she was so mundane and stealthy he did not notice her until his second year. After seeing her though, Tomoya thought she was the most beautiful girl in the world.

Megumi even inspired Tomoya to make a dating sim game: Cherry Blessing. Tomoya may have been disappointed by her real personality after getting to know her but he is definitely obsessed with the way she looks.

Tomoya Aki, the protagonist of Saekano, describes Megumi Katou as the most beautiful girl he has ever seen, and for good reason. She has perfect proportions. She curves out wherever she's supposed to curve out and she curves in wherever she's supposed to curve in! Her skin is smooth, her chestnut brown hair makes her dark brown eyes pop, and her height is perfect for her weight as well.

Megumi's looks can easily be defined as perfection. Her personality, however, is as plain and ordinary as her looks are beautiful. Even after being so cute, she manages to stay stealthy and doesn't stand out at all. All because her personality is too mundane, lackluster even. She is kind as well as soft-spoken and she goes out of her way to help people. But, well, she is extremely forgettable.

The best word to define Megumi is...normal. Her hobbies are normal, her behavior is normal, and pretty much everything about her is just...normal. Some unique traits in her personality do start to show themselves later in the series. However, it's safe to say that not many people were able to see any other side to her than her ordinary self.
