Shido Itsuka is the protagonist of the popular series Date A Live. He has the special ability to seal the powers of spirits in his own body through a kiss. He works for the Ratatoskr organization, where he is assigned tasks related to making different spirits fall in love with him in an effort to neutralize them.

Shido has little to no idea about how to deal with women, so his job becomes a little too hard for him a lot of the time. Each mission takes a toll on his mental health. However, despite all that, he is adamant about fulfilling his duties to ensure everyone's safety. Shido Itsuka isn't extremely attractive at first glance. However, women often fall for him when they get to know him. He has straight blue hair and amber-brown eyes that turn gold whenever he is using his powers. He is often seen wearing his school uniform on and off mission in most episodes.
 
The prime quality that makes Shido attractive in the eyes of most women in Date A Live is his ability to easily empathize with them. He is able to understand them and what they are going through quite easily. This makes them feel that their feelings are recognized.

Shido always tries to see the good in people. He is immensely kind and reasonably patient. He's really good at being a peacemaker, too. However, when pushed to his limit, he can exhibit extreme annoyance towards his line of work.

Shido Itsuka can seal the power of spirits in his own body through a kiss. He is, without a doubt, the most powerful character in Date A Live. In fact, he can solo many anime verses, too.

Sealing: Shido can seal the powers of a particular spirit inside his body by kissing them. However, in order to do this, he first has to create a bond with the spirit based on mutual trust and affection.

Power Activation: Shido can not only seal a spirit's power inside of him, but he can also activate and use that particular power at any given time. The more connected he is to a specific spirit, the more effectively he can utilize their abilities.

Angel Manifestation: Shido can also activate the angels connected to the powers of any specific spirit. After materializing, these angels then do as he commands.
