From adorable to stunning in a matter of seconds!
In Demon Slayers: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Nezuko gained a lot of fans with her sweet face, adorable chibi size, impressive fighting skills, and immense strength for such a small body!
During the Entertainment District Arc, we were introduced to Nezuko’s complete form, an enhanced, gorgeous, and somewhat controversial version of her. The “adult Nezuko '' can do things that leave even the Upper Ranks of the Twelve Kizuki behind.
In this post, I will discuss the wild transformation that makes Nezuko look so beautiful and cool.
The sweet Nezuko is a mighty demon. As much as she seems dependent and fragile, she can hold her own, quickly adapt to new situations during battles, and surpass her enemies — even when they initially had the upper hand.
This extraordinary improvement rate is due to the amount of blood Nezuko received from Muzan Kibutsuji when he turned her into a demon!
As a demon, Nezuko also has immense strength and a talent for physical combat despite no prior training, mainly delivering extremely powerful kicks.
But by far, one of the most charming abilities Nezuko received upon becoming a demon is her size alteration!
Demons have shape-shifting or other flesh manipulation abilities, and Nezuko can alter her body's size and height. She often shrinks to the size of a toddler or a little child to fit small spaces or escape.
And more than shrinking or growing, when Nezuko went berserk in the entertainment district and unleashed her demon powers, her body reflected her state, appearing in a full-fledged, adult form!
What makes Nezuko so interesting isn’t simply her endearing looks but also her mad skills, determination, and her humanity, which remains. When put together, those characteristics make Nezuko different from other demons.
First, Nezuko managed to control her impulse to feed on humans and learned to restore her strength through sleep. She needs a long rest to recover, but who will interrupt this baby’s nap?
She was strong enough to develop her Blood Demon Art, which only affects other demons and is entirely harmless to humans.
And she developed immunity to sunlight! In Demon Slayers, demons are weak to the sun, and so was Nezuko initially. However, she became resistant to sunlight after some time and could be active any time of the day.
As you can see, Nezuko is such a fantastic female character in Demon Slayers, and my admiration for her grew stronger when I saw her complete demon form. Seeing that adorable girl as a beautiful (and cruel) woman was shocking, but I loved it!
I want to avoid possible spoilers. But I can tell you that Nezuko goes berserk and enters her demon form during the fight with the demon Daki, a female half of Upper Rank six of the Twelve Kizuki, to protect Tanjiro.
When Nezuko transforms into her demon form, she gets taller, and her hair grows longer. Her body gains beautiful curves that cause her kimono to create a charming cleavage, and a lovely vine pattern appears on her skin.
A white cracked horn grows on the right side of her forehead, vein-like markings appear on her forehead and around her eyes, and her pupils become slits.
As Demon Nezuko, it’s not only her body that transforms; her physical abilities in this state are drastically increased! She becomes incredibly fast, strong, and, on top of that, vicious. She also starts losing her human side, enjoying the pain she inflicts.
In addition, her regenerative abilities became so strong that beyond regrowing missing limbs, Nezuko could reconnect severed parts of her body by making her blood dense enough to work as solid ropes.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga ended in 2020, but could Nezuko still surprise fans even more in the future? I hope so, don’t you? I’d love to see the adult Nezuko more often!
Not all fans approved of Nezuko’s complete demon form, however. What’s your opinion on that? What’s your favorite version of her? Join The Otaku Community for free and share your opinion with me and other Nezuko and Demon Slayers fans!
