Mavis Vermillion was the first Guild Master of the Fairy Tail Guild and a co-founder who played a vital role in shaping its values and strategies. After using an incomplete version of Law, a powerful black magic, to save Yuri Dreyar, Mavis became immortal but cursed with a body that stopped aging at the age of 13. 

Despite this, her tactical brilliance and caring nature helped Fairy Tail grow and thrive. For years, her comatose body remained sealed within a Lacrima, known as Fairy Heart, while she communicated with the guild as a Thought Projection. Ultimately, her body was freed by Cana Alberona through the use of Fairy Glitter.
