Midari Ikishima is a second-year student at Hyakkaou Private Academy. She's the president of the Beautification Council, a team that directly comes under the Student Council and is mainly responsible for collecting debts from no-shows. She carries a gun to scare the house pets into repaying their debts. Though, in truth, she mostly ends up playing Russian Roulette with it.

Midari is different from every student in her academy. She is also most definitely insane. While most students care about their financial standing, she seems to care little about anything except finding ways to harm herself. She has deep-rooted masochistic tendencies. She is also highly unpredictable. Most students at the academy try to avoid her for obvious reasons.

Midari Ikishima doesn't follow the uniform code at all. She has her ears, tongue, and mouth pierced. She likes wearing purple a lot. She always wears purple lipstick and nail paint. Her headbands are usually purple, too. Even her underwear is always purple. Her yellow-green eyes can sometimes look a little scary since she has exceptionally tiny pupils.

Midari is insane as well as suicidal. She also has self-harming tendencies. She is often guilty of doing weird things and making everyone around her uncomfortable. She loves the games of life and death. The bigger the risk, the better. In one of her gambles, she even lost an eye. She keeps betting large amounts of money in her gambles because she doesn't get excited unless a game has long-term consequences.
