I've got some incredibly exciting news to share with you all. We've hit a major milestone with our Yaoi Box pre-orders, surpassing our goal of 1,000 pre-orders!

This is an absolutely huge achievement for me, and I couldn't be more grateful for the overwhelming support from the Yaoi community. Your enthusiasm means the world to me!

The Yaoi Box Story

A few years ago, I acquired a small subscription box company called Yaoi Crate. At the time, I'll admit I was feeling a bit intimidated by the idea of launching a whole new boxed product line dedicated to Yaoi anime. After all, The Otaku Box was still my main baby that I was nurturing and growing.

But I've never been one to shy away from a challenge, especially when it comes to spreading more amazing anime joy! So after careful planning and preparation, I decided to take the plunge in early March 2024. I revealed my top secret plan to create "The Yaoi Box by The Otaku Box" and open pre-orders for this brand-new Otaku offering.

To build the excitement, I created cute graphics to tease some of the exciting Yaoi figures, and merchandise that might be part of the first Yaoi Box. I could barely contain my excitement wondering if the Yaoi fandom would embrace this new subscription box idea as much as I hoped they would.

And now, not even two months later, I have reached the most incredible milestone yet. We've reached our pre-order goal of 1,000 boxes for the debut Yaoi Box launch! Yippee!!!

I'm absolutely buzzing with joy and can't thank all of you eager Yaoi fans enough for your enthusiasm and support! Seeing the Yaoi community come together so quickly to make this a reality fills my kokoro with pure bliss. I'm beaming sunshine smiles from ear to ear right now!

What Happens Next?

You know what this means, right? The Yaoi Box is 100% confirmed and coming your way in just a matter of weeks now. I'll be working at supersonic max speeds to ensure the very first official Yaoi Box brimming with amazing Boys' Love merch, and kawaii surprises ships out in May.

Of course, there are still a few critical actions we all need to take to make this happen:

First, for those who pre-ordered, don't forget to visit the pre-order voting page and cast your choices for which series/characters you'd like to see included! Voting ends May 7, so get those picks in ASAP.

Once voting wraps up, I will finalize the actual Yaoi Box contents and merchandise. We'll be working around the clock to design and produce all the awesome loot to fill each box to the brim with pure BL bliss!

Delivery Details

Then, we'll get to the fun part, which is boxing up the very first Yaoi Box orders for all of you and shipping them out. If you joined the pre-order before May 7, your box will be one of the first out the door, shipping on May 24. The rest will follow in the weeks after based on your subscription date.

It typically takes around 2 weeks for boxes to arrive once they ship. But don't worry, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email once your box is on its journey to you. You can also check the status anytime on your account page.

Important Reminders

Please ensure that your credit card has sufficient credit available for billing on May 1st. If you chose a monthly plan, your card will be billed again on June 1st. I know the timing might be a bit tight for some, but rest assured, your Yaoi Box will be making its way to you soon!
