Hey, Bleach fans! It's your girl Liz here, and I am so hyped to catch you up on all the details for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3—aka "The Conflict." The first episodes are already out, and if you haven’t started watching yet, no worries! I've got you covered with all the essentials to dive right into the action-packed drama! Let's gooo!Â
The first thing you need to know is where you can catch all the new episodes of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3. For my peeps in the U.S., it's available on Hulu, and for everyone outside, you'll need Disney+!Â
Episodes drop every Saturday, starting October 5, 2024. So get your popcorn, load up those subs (or dubs if you're waiting for them), and let's see what Ichigo and the gang are up to next!

So, if you remember, Part 2 of TYBW left us all gasping for air. It wrapped up with Squad Zero fighting Yhwach's elite soldiers, the Schutzstaffel. It was brutal! We saw Squad Zero’s best, like Ichibe Hyosube, putting up a tough fight, but Yhwach kept pushing back using a power called Auswählen, which allowed him to drain the life from his own soldiers.Â
Things got even crazier when Squad Zero sacrificed themselves to unlock Senjumaru’s Bankai, pulling out all the stops to trap Yhwach's followers in bespoke prisons. But that wasn’t enough to finish the fight!
And don’t forget, Yhwach vs. Ichibe was one of the biggest showdowns! Ichibe's power to erase Yhwach’s name (how cool is that?!) had us all thinking he was done for, but Bleach fans know better. This fight is far from over!Â
Manga vs. Anime: What's New in Part 3?

Now, here’s the juicy part! Part 3 is going to add a ton of anime-original content that wasn’t in the manga! The original creator, Tite Kubo, had to rush parts of the story in the manga, so this is Studio Pierrot’s chance to expand and smooth things out. They’re filling in the gaps, and we’re already seeing epic moments like Senjumaru’s Bankai, which wasn’t in the original. That means even manga fans are getting brand-new Bleach moments!Â

For all you hardcore manga readers wondering where the anime’s pacing is, let me break it down for you! TYBW Part 2 left off around Chapter 609 of the manga, and Part 3 should pick up from there. There’s still a bunch of manga to cover, so if the anime slows down the pacing to three chapters per episode (especially with the added content), we’ll still have enough material for a Part 4 next year!

Expect some intense battles and crazy plot twists. We’ve got the remaining fights between Squad Zero and the Schutzstaffel heating up, and of course, Yhwach is still up to no good. Ichigo is also gearing up for another epic showdown, so prepare yourselves for more Bankai, new moves, and seriously breathtaking animation!
With Part 3 being the make-or-break segment of the adaptation, we’re all crossing our fingers for the best! If Part 3 keeps this momentum and adds the right touch to the story, it might just fix some of the manga’s rushed elements, making the anime’s final arc a legendary watch!Â
And that’s all for now, Bleach fans! Whether you're a long-time lover of the Soul Society or just getting into the action, TYBW Part 3 is shaping up to be everything we hoped for and more! Be sure to keep watching and join the anime fam over at The Otaku Box community—we've got loads of Bleach merch and epic anime figures for you to check out too! Let’s continue to geek out over Bleach together!
