Rias Gremory is the main female protagonist of the anime/light novel series High School DxD. She is the heir of the powerful Gremory clan, one of the 72 Pillars of the Underworld. And as such, Rias holds the prestigious title of Crimson-Haired Ruin Princess.

She is a first-year college student at Kuoh Academy and the former president of the Occult Research Club. The school knows her as the top beauty and one of Kuoh's Two Great Ladies, along with Akeno Himejima. Rias is also one of the main love interests and fiancées of the series protagonist, Issei Hyoudou.

She is the only daughter and youngest child of Zeoticus and Venelana of the distinguished Gremory family. Moreover, she is Millicas Gremory's aunt and maternal cousin to Sairaorg and Magdaran Bael.

Rias began as a powerful, High-class Devil. Her extraordinary powers helped her become the highest-ranking, an Ultimate-class Devil. Within her peerage, she reigns supreme as the kingpiece.

Her long, bright red hair is a standout feature. It reaches down to her thighs, with one piece sticking up like a cowlick. Framing her pretty face are loose bangs on the sides. Her deep blue eyes (shown blue-green in early seasons) are intense but gentle.

Adding to her striking looks are her tall 172cm (5'8") height and curvy yet fit figure. Rias noticeably and recurringly gets looks from men and women wherever she goes.
