Ichigo is one of the main characters in Darling in the FRANXX and the official leader of Squad 13. She is a Parasite with the codename "015" from the Thirteenth Plantation, partnered with Goro to pilot the FRANXX called Delphinium.

Ichigo struggles with balancing her responsibilities as a leader and her personal feelings, particularly her unrequited love for Hiro. Throughout the series, she learns to put the well-being of her squad before her desires and eventually finds happiness with Goro.

Ichigo has a petite build and is the shortest among the parasites in Squad 13. She has short blue hair styled in a razor-cut hairstyle, with longer hair on the right side of her face and a white hair clip on the left. Her eyes are soft green. She wears the standard Pistil Parasite uniform.

As a leader, Ichigo is responsible, serious, and reliable. She is also caring and considerate towards her friends, often encouraging teamwork. However, her emotions can sometimes cloud her judgment, especially concerning Hiro. Ichigo is straightforward and rule-abiding but can be socially awkward sometimes. Over the course of the series, she matures and learns to put the needs of others before her own feelings.
