Uta is a medium-height woman with striking purple eyes. Her hair is dramatically split down the middle, one side white, the other red, and styled into twin long ponytails with circular braids. Her white hair obscures her left eye. Occasionally, she sprouts two feathery wings, one pink, one white. She wears a short, frilly white dress with a black bow, button detail, and a light blue sleeve bearing a childhood drawing of Shanks' straw hat. Her golden cone-shaped headphones have light blue bands, and she’s often seen in a colorful, patterned jacket.

Uta is cheerful, energetic, and optimistic, but her character also harbors a deep sense of sadness and complexity. She genuinely believes in her ideal of creating a utopian world through her music, and she becomes determined to use her powers to achieve this dream, even if it means taking extreme measures.
