My Dress-up Darling

The protagonist, Wakan Gojo is a first-year high school student who aims to be a Hina doll craftsman. When Marin Kitagawa, his gorgeous Gyaru classmate, discovers his talent for Hina dolls, she asks him whether he can make costumes for her cosplays. This leads to the beginning of a friendship with the potential to blossom into something more!

Although the anime doesn’t have the bright students and battles of wit that Kaguya-Sama: Love is War does, it does have a charming high school dynamic with a shy craftsman and the outgoing Gyaru!

Horimiya

Kyouko Hori is a beautiful and a diligent high school student, but everything changes for her when she meets Izumi Miyamura. While Miyamura looks to be your average glasses-wearing nerd, he is hiding his true appearance. Hiding their true selves from the world, the two find someone to open up to in each other.

Horimiya has a great romantic plot, even though the confession comes fairly quickly compared to Kaguya-sama. It definitely captures the essence of a realistic romance story and is sure to strike a note with any Kaguya-sama fan looking forward to what can happen after a confession.

Kamisama Kiss

Kamisama Kiss takes a different approach to romance. When high school student Nanami Momozono is thrown into the role of a land god, she finds out that a tsundere fox spirit named Tomoe is included in the deal! While the story is supernatural, unlike Kaguya-Sama, the magical story is definitely a nice watch for lovers of romance and comedies!

Maid Sama

Misaki Ayuzawa is the student council president in a school predominantly overrun by guys. She’s smart, honest, and diligent, and is very strict with the boys. However, Misaki has a secret: she works in a maid café! This romance comedy unravels when her classmate, Usui Takumi, who loves maids, discovers her secret! Watch as the strict student council president slowly breaks her hard outer shell and falls in love!

Boarding School Juliet

Similar to Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War, the story takes place in a boarding school! The students are separated into dormitories "Black Dogs" and the "White Cats", with each having their own leaders, Romio Inuzuka and Juliet Persia. The two factions can't seem to get along, so what happens when the two leaders fall in love with each other?!

Although the love part comes sooner, the anime’s gags, twists, and comedy are definitely a treat to watch.
