I still remember watching High School DxD for the first time and instantly got addicted.
The iconic ecchi anime launched in January 2012, and I was immediately captivated by the plot, jokes, and characters, especially the best girl ever, Rias Gremory!
It's been five years since the end of season four, and I still have hopes of High School DxD season five being finally announced. But while we wait patiently for updates on its production, let’s remember the best Rias Gremory anime scenes from Season 1!
High School DxD introduces Rias Gremory in the best way possible!
After solving a chess puzzle, the mysterious red-head lady undresses in the Occult Research Club room and heads to shower, showing how smart, confident, and strong she is! And that was the beginning of a long love story between the Princess of Destruction and her otaku subjects.
After Issei is killed by Raynare and resurrected with evil pieces, he receives a deadly blow again. Rias uses magic to heal his body overnight, and her unique skill works best when both the target and Rias are naked.
The next day, when Rias and Issei woke up on his bed, she graciously asserted her gentle dominance and explained to him what happened.
Remember when a slime corroded the girls’ clothes? This occurred in Episode 7 when the group sought a familiar in the forest for Issei. They were surprised by a green acid goo that fell from the sky, and Akeno and Rias were the most affected.
Zatouji, the Familiar Master, clarified that the ecchi slime had a thing for female clothes. Issei became obsessed with having such a convenient creature by his side!
When Issei dreams about his wedding ceremony, he envisions Rias Gremory naked on the honeymoon. I can’t think of another time when she looks this attractive. Rias in a wedding dress is just so stunning!
Rias looks so intense under the moonlight! During Issei’s training for the Rating Game, the couple meet and talk at night, while Rias wears nothing but a see-through nightdress and glasses.
High School DxD Season 1 ends with a romantic kiss between my Rias and Issei! That was the best way to close the series' first season.
