Akane Tendo is the youngest daughter of Soun Tendo, the owner of the Tendo branch of Anything Goes Martial Arts dojo. She lost her mother when she was very young. It's because of this that she has tomboyish habits. However, she has two elder sisters with typical feminine demeanors who support her in everything she does.

Akane Tendo has big beautiful blue hair at the beginning of Ranma 1/2 that she wears in a loose, laidback ponytail. However, later in the series, she starts wearing them in a short-bob style. She has deep brown eyes that give her an innocent look when she smiles. However, she's mostly brash with either an angry look or a smirk on her face.
Akane hates men...she definitely hates losing to them as well. She gets along better with women. She is a hard worker, training relentlessly to better her martial arts skills. She's pretty good at fighting as well. She can beat most men to a pulp. Since she trains so much and is far stronger than an average girl her age, she's mostly seen as a brash tomboy by girls around her. Boys, however, are known to easily fall for her since she's easy on the eyes and has a great figure.
Powers & Abilities
Akane’s martial arts prowess sets her apart as a skilled fighter with natural talent and determination. While she lacks Ranma's advanced techniques, her tenacity more than makes up for it.
- Enhanced Physical Strength: Far stronger than an average girl her age, Akane can take down most male opponents with ease.
- Anything Goes Martial Arts Training: As a student of her family dojo, Akane has mastered the basics of this versatile fighting style, making her a formidable adversary.
- Unyielding Determination: Akane’s grit and refusal to back down often push her beyond her limits in battles.
