Buckle up, buttercups, because "Into the Rose Garden" is NOT your typical fluffy BL story.

This ain't no fairy tale, folks. It's a rollercoaster of emotions, full of angst and just a tiny glimmer of hope.
So, grab your tissues and get ready for a wild ride!
Volume 1 Summary:
In a kingdom where alphas and omegas exist, Count Aelock/Arok Taywind, an alpha, falls for Klopp, another alpha. Heartbroken when Klopp marries someone else, Aelock does something terrible: he hires thugs to scare Klopp's pregnant wife.
Arok didn't want to hurt Rafiel. He just wanted to scare him. But the men he sent did much worse. They assaulted Rafiel and killed him and the baby.
Consumed by grief and rage, Klopp disappears, only to return years later as a powerful man. He finds Aelock ruined and takes his revenge by forcing himself on him, fathering multiple children.
A cruel twist of fate sees Aelock assaulted in the slums by the same thugs he hired. But through it all, Aelock never stops loving Klopp and never sheds a tear, which only fuels Klopp's anger.
Aelock's health slowly declines due to his poor living conditions. On his deathbed, Aelock finally cries for the first time. Eventually, Aelock succumbs to his sickness and dies.
Volume 2 Summary - the Original Aelock Regression
If you're reading the manhwa, you might be a bit confused with Volumes 2 and 3.
Volume 2 is an alternate universe in which the Original or Volume 1 Aelock regresses into the past.
This time, he makes sure to leave Klopp alone. But Klopp falls for him on their first meeting. He tries to forget him by dating Rafiel. It doesn't work.
Then, one night, Aelock asks Klopp for help, and Klopp agrees. Aelock wasn't good with money and got tricked a lot in every life.
He didn't understand how much money he had and kept getting scammed. He didn't know how to do basic things and was easily fooled.
So even if Klopp didn't do anything wrong, Aelock would probably have lost his money anyway. He was too careless with it and didn't pay attention to his finances.
This opens a new side of Aelock to him, and Klopp's feelings deepen.
Their relationship takes a dark turn when Aelock is attacked in the slums, and Klopp saves him. They have passionate sex, but Klopp discovers Aelock has turned into an omega.
Aelock is plagued by nightmares, revealing a painful past. Despite this, Klopp and Aelock's love grows stronger as they start a family.
One dream brings Aelock joy because he sees a future with Klopp and their children. Waking up in Klopp's embrace, both find happiness together, their past pain seemingly healed.
Volume 3 Summary - Original Klopp Regression
In this volume, the original Klopp regresses to a different time. And in this one, Aelock does not have feelings for him.
It began with a stormy reunion in the rose garden where Klopp, consumed by anger, confronted a bewildered Aelock.
Aelock didn't want to hurt Rafiel. He just wanted to scare him. But the men he sent did much worse. They hurt Rafiel badly and killed him.
This doesn't mean Arok is innocent. He did a bad thing because of jealousy, so he is still responsible for what happened, even if he didn't want it to go that far.
However, fate, it seems, kept throwing them together. Klopp rescued Aelock from danger, crossing paths again at a party.
A desperate Aelock turned to Klopp for financial help, unknowingly striking a deal that would change everything.
Their relationship was a dance of confusion and desire. Klopp, haunted by memories Aelock couldn't grasp, longed for a connection. Aelock, wary but drawn to Klopp, found himself falling for the enigmatic alpha.
But their pasts wouldn't let them be. A jealous outburst led Aelock to discover Klopp's secret – he was imprinted on someone. Yet, Klopp's words of love were always for Aelock, leaving him both confused and hopeful.
A near-death experience and a twist of fate brought them even closer. But the depth of Klopp's love for Aelock was revealed only when the truth of their past lives unraveled.
In front of Klopp was Arok Taywind, the most beautiful person he knew. But it wasn't the same Arok he had loved and lost in the past. Klopp had killed himself to try and be with the old Arok, but it didn't work.
Klopp still loved this new Arok, who was smart, funny, and cute. He had never known this side of Arok before. But the Arok he truly loved was the old one, the one he felt sorry for and loved so deeply.
Klopp thought his time travel was a punishment. He couldn't change the past, no matter how much he wanted to. He had to live with the pain of losing the old Arok and seeing how good the new Arok was.
Klopp felt sad because he knew he could never be with the Arok he truly loved. It was a sad ending, but it was what he deserved for what he did in the past.
That's it for the spoilers!
It would be much better to read the novel in its entirety. The manhwa is missing a lot of details!
The angst is much better and more painful in the novel. When you're done, you'll surely end up in tears!
