New Season, New Anime, More Fun!
Yay! April has come, bringing the second anime season of 2023!
Spring anime season starts in April and ends in June, following the Japanese seasons of the year. And together with the blooming flowers, there are new anime and seasons of anime coming out that I love!
Here are some of the shows I'm watching this season!
Old Anime, New Seasons
Starting this month, great titles like Dr. Stone and Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury are returning with new seasons or projects. You must check out the latest episodes if you have watched any previous seasons.
Some of the most popular anime coming back this month are KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! – which will focus on Megumin and Yunyun. Then there's The Ancient Magus' Bride Season 2 and Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc!
I'm super excited I can finally watch more Demon Slayer after nearly one year of waiting! The new season adapts the ninth arc of the story, where Tanjiro travels to a village of swordsmiths to get his sword repaired. But demons from the Twelve Kizuki threaten the town! Such bad timing!
New Anime!
Spring anime season has new promises too!
For me, it is time to watch Hell's Paradise (Jigokuraku). It's among the anime I'm looking forward to watching the most in 2023! The first episode aired on April 1st, and the hype is unreal!
The Dead Mount Death Play second cour is also supposed to arrive in October 2023, and Mahou Shoujo Magical Destroyers sounds super fun and promising! It's about rebellious magical girls defending the otaku culture.
Will one of these anime win the title of Best of 2023? Only time will tell.
Isekai Corner
With so many Isekai anime about to release, I had to dedicate a special place for them in this article.
This season, the shows I'm curious about include My One-Hit Kill Sister and I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World.
But most especially, I want to see Summoned to Another World for a Second Time!
In this new anime, the main character is sent to a fantasy world, becoming a hero as usual. But after falling into a trap, he returns to his original world as a baby!
Should I say he was de-isekai'd? Maybe it doesn't matter, as he was summoned to another world AGAIN!
Is Your Spring Watchlist Ready?
There are so many good anime to watch that it's easy to get lost. Have you ever felt the same way?
There are plenty more aside from all the titles above. For example, the new Psycho-Pass and Sailor Moon movies look good.
I like to keep a list of everything! Do you have a different strategy for staying up-to-date with all the great shows released yearly?
I love it when you all share your thoughts and ideas with me.
If you haven't joined my Otaku Community yet, you're more than welcome to do so! All the otakus there will be happy to meet you and discuss the newest and longtime favorite anime and manga!
