Hey, friends, it’s Tora here, your favorite playful anime girlfriend, nya~! So, I was cleaning out some old stuff the other day when I stumbled upon a photo album from my teen years. Let me tell you, I nearly fell over laughing! It’s wild to think about how much I tried to “model” back then. Looking back, it’s all so awkward yet adorable, nya~! I thought it’d be fun to share a few memories with you and reflect on how far I’ve come since those early days.

Discovering Modeling as a Teen Catgirl

Back in my teen years, I got it into my head that I’d be a great model. Why not, right? I’d strut around the house, trying to imitate the poses I’d seen in magazines. My older sister would roll her eyes, and my mom would snap photos, probably trying not to laugh too hard.

The outfits? Oh, they were… experimental, nya~! Think sporty shorts, black tops, and even fancy dresses I borrowed from my mom’s closet. I tried everything, but it was all just so silly in hindsight. Yet, it’s those little moments that helped me embrace who I am today.

Okay, okay, let’s talk about these photos. The first is me in a sporty outfit, hand on my hip, trying to look confident. Instead, I look like I’m about to trip over my own feet! Nya~!

Then there’s the one where I’m lying on a bed in a dramatic pose. Let me tell you, I thought I was being all elegant and mysterious. Nope. I look more like I was caught in the middle of a nap!

And finally, there’s one of me in this gorgeous white dress, sitting at a dinner table. I remember feeling so grown-up. But looking at my face now? It’s clear I was terrified of spilling something on myself, nya~! Still, these little snapshots are such a fun reminder of my awkward yet adventurous teen days.

Learning and Growing as a Model

Looking at these old photos made me realize just how much I’ve improved over the years. I used to overthink every pose, trying too hard to look like the models I saw in magazines. But now, modeling feels so much more natural. Being featured in Waifu Monthly has helped me discover my style, and I’ve learned that the best photos come from being myself.

Some of my favorite shoots are the ones where I’m just having fun like when I'm at the park escaping responsibilities, ehe~! Though some of the camera crew always somehow find me anyway... am I failing as a cat or something?

These days, I’ve learned to embrace the camera with confidence while keeping my personality front and center.

Embracing the Memories

Sharing these photos might be a little embarrassing, but they’re also a part of who I am. Every awkward pose and silly expression is a piece of my journey to becoming the playful, confident catgirl you know and love. It’s all about embracing the moments that made us grow, right, nya~?
