Anime to watch during your lunch break.
Isn’t it hard to let go of a particular anime after watching the last episode?
Sometimes, starting another anime or following one through to the end is even harder when I have so much to do and little free time! 😔
Thankfully, I found some really short anime series that take less time than an anime movie. You can watch an entire season in less than one hour. It feels like magic!
If you love idols and other anime related to showbiz but don't have time to follow Oshi no Ko or my other recommendations — what about following the struggles of a not-so-successful idol?
With 13 4-minute-long episodes, Miss Monochrome is a lighthearted anime about an android working hard to become an idol. This task is not easy, but she’s unwilling to give up!
And if you enjoy the first season, the episodes from seasons two and three aren’t much longer. They are only seven minutes, with 13 episodes each. So it takes around 90 minutes to watch the whole season.
Have you lost your hopes of finding love? If so, this anime will restore them with 13 3-minute episodes!
In I Can’t Understand What My Husband Is Saying, Hajime is a hardcore otaku and a hikikomori, while his wife, Kaoru, is an office lady who knows nothing about anime.
With that alone, we can imagine how different they are, but still, the unlikely couple fell in love and, more importantly, worked hard to bring each other happiness.
If you have an extra 40 minutes once the first season is done, you can watch the entire second season for a good laugh!
At first, Deji Meets Girl seemed to make no sense. But I decided to watch everything since it would take me less than half an hour, and I’m glad I did!
Deji Meets Girl is an adorable story about Maise Higa and Ichirou Suzuki. Maise works part-time at her family’s hotel and finds it boring until the new guest, Ichirou, arrives. Whenever he is around, unbelievable events start to happen.
This anime has the shortest episodes from this list: only two minutes! Watching the entire anime takes as much time as seeing one regular episode.
If you miss classic fantasy adventures but are short on time, Senyuu could be a great choice!
Senyuu is a comedy anime with 13 episodes. It follows the adventures of Alba (one of 75 heroes on a mission to defeat the Demon King) and Ross (a rather sadistic soldier unwilling to help).
Their journey is full of crazy encounters and struggles for poor Alba. And for extended fun, you can watch Senyuu season two, which has the same number of short episodes!
Life has been so busy lately. As a result, I sometimes have a hard time relaxing as much as I’d like, and that’s when these short anime come in handy.
Did you know anime could be so short? What other shows would you recommend to otakus that lead hectic lives? Every otaku is welcome to share their thoughts on my Otaku Community!
