The sexy expression “Ara Ara” (あらあら) is a common interjection used by Japanese ladies to express a specific range of emotions mildly. The translation would be “My, my…”, “Oh, my…”, “Oh, dear…” and other similar phrases.
Depending on the intonation, “ara ara” could express various emotions, such as surprise, disbelief, annoyance, and motherly affection towards children.
