Chu Sangwoo, a computer science student, is a creature of habit. Same coffee, same seat, same routine every day.

When group project slackers try to steal his thunder, he cuts them loose. But, uh oh! This messes up the plans of Jang Jaeyoung, the popular senior who now can't graduate on time.

Sangwoo feels bad, but seriously, Jaeyoung won't stop calling! Fate throws them together again when Sangwoo needs a graphic designer for his game.

Jaeyoung, all charm on the outside, is actually a ticking time bomb.

Annoyed by Sangwoo's "whatever" attitude, he decides to shake things up and mess with Sangwoo's perfectly organized life.

Sangwoo tries to stay cool, but Jaeyoung's hot temper and killer smile are proving to be more than just a glitch in his system.

Review

The story is pretty simple – it's the classic enemies-to-lovers trope, set in college, much like Nerd Project.

It's a slice-of-life story focusing on the relationship and everyday events. The best part is the dialogue – it's witty and relatable and explores the challenges of being in a gay relationship in a really authentic way.

It's not super explicit, but what's going on is clear. There's nothing weird or gross, and it's all consensual, which is a nice change from some BL stories.

Their personalities clash, but seeing them interact is really funny! Overall, I highly recommend this manhwa if you're looking for a funny, heartwarming love story!

2. Bj Alex

Nam Dong-Gyun, a college kid, is hooked on the nightly live streams of his favorite streamer, BJ Alex.

Alex hides his face behind a mask, but his shows are super sexy and always get Dong-Gyun in the mood. No wonder Dong-Gyun's got a crush on this mysterious cam boy!

One day, Dong-Gyun hangs out with Ahn Jiwon, the friendly student council president. They go to a party, but Dong-Gyun ends up way too drunk. Jiwon helps him get home safely.

While Jiwon's cleaning up, Dong-Gyun notices something crazy: Jiwon's body looks just like BJ Alex's!

Dong-Gyun blurts out a question, asking if Jiwon and Alex are the same guy. The answer shocks him, and Dong-Gyun suddenly sees Jiwon in a new light.

BJ Alex is a manhwa that has cemented its status as one of the most iconic manhwas!

The first few chapters were a bit of a painful read. Painful in the sense that you will cringe at the amount of secondhand embarrassment you get. But as soon as we get to the chasing arc, things start to look up!

If you're not a fan of stories where one character is more into the other initially, this one might not be for you. But if you're up for some good smut with a bit of angsty plot, give it a try!

3. You Get Me Going

An irritated Youngwon knocks on Hyunwoo's head
Read You Get Me Going on Lezhin

Go Youngwon is a genius. He breezed through his science degree, got his PhD super fast, and now he's raking in the dough as a top researcher. But here's the catch: the guy's a total nerd. He's never left the lab or even been on a date!

Despite being clueless about love, Youngwon dreams of a fairytale romance. He's also a sucker for good looks and falls head-over-heels way too easily. This gets him in trouble – he often gets dumped before he even scores a first date!

Lately, the guy Youngwon's been hanging out with is the complete opposite of him. Kang Hyunwoo is the same age, but everything else is different.

They have different personalities, interests, and pretty much everything you can think of!

Review

You Get Me Going may not be set in college (it's an office setting), but it does make up for the sweet rivals-to-lovers trope!

MOSCARETO's latest office romance manhwa is a pure, fluffy delight! No love triangles, just two incredibly hot characters falling head over heels for each other.

The characters are so well-developed, and their chemistry is off the charts. I couldn't get enough of their love-hate relationship!

The story's pacing is perfect - it keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. The only downside is that there aren't any side stories, which is a bummer because I wanted more!

4. XXX Buddy

Seo Hyunsoo just landed his dream job as the head of the design team at City Casual, a fancy men's magazine. All he wants is a chill, easy life.

But then there's Baek Youngchan, the annoyingly cheerful head of the planning team. They're constantly at each other's throats, and Hyunsoo can't stand Youngchan's happy-go-lucky attitude.

Even though Hyunsoo tries to avoid him, he stumbles upon Youngchan doing something super inappropriate in the bathroom. Talk about awkward! And to make matters worse, Youngchan won't leave Hyunsoo alone after that.

Can Hyunsoo focus on his work, or will the upcoming company retreat turn into something steamy?

Review

Another must-read rival to lovers' office romance!

There are a lot of hurdles, most especially on Hyunsoo's part. Youngchan helps him through it. Because of that, their relationship develops into something utterly beautiful.

Seriously, these two are the cutest! And the best part? Their relationship is actually healthy!

The author is a genius, creating characters that are so real and relatable. The love story is beautiful, and the slow burn is everything!

Overall, if you're a fan of office romance manhwa, especially those with a little bit of drama, you'll love this one. It's a must-read!
