There are anime for various tastes or interests within so many different genres. However, the problem is which anime I should start watching first!
And things aren’t different with ecchi.
There are tons of lewd anime, filled with mouthwatering, sexy scenes, that it can be hard to know where to start.
In 2023, new shows with naughty moments aired, and for my fellow otakus wanting spicy entertainment, it’s time to see which one was the hottest ecchi anime of 2023!
The shows below were all classified as ecchi, which means in all of these anime, you'll see lots of fanservice, panties, and even some nude boobies bouncing here and there!
And after each title, you can see what other otakus think of each show through their score on the MyAnimeList.net!
With short, twelve-minute episodes aired in censored and uncensored versions, My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog is about a male high school student who suddenly wakes up freezing on the streets. His beloved classmate, Karen Inukai, then rescues him.
At her home, he finds it strange how comfortable she feels undressing in front of him. She even takes him to the shower with her.
Everything was strange until he saw himself in a mirror and realized he had become a little dog! Starting that day, his school crush Karen and her friends were desperate for his affection and doing whatever they could to get his attention!
Despite its release in winter, Ayakashi Triangle was one of those anime that had their production delayed due to COVID-19. The last episode only aired in September.
In the show, Suzu Kanade is a kind girl whose energy attracts these lots of ayakashi, supernatural creatures invisible to most people. Her childhood friend Matsuri Kazamaki is a young ayakashi exorcist ninja very committed to his duty.
Although most ayakashi are harmless, some come after humans to feed on their life force, and one day, Suzu is attacked by Shirogane, the "King of Ayakashi," who is determined to absorb her power. Matsuri manages to stop Shirogane and seal his powers but falls under a curse that turns him into a girl!
Until he finds a way to transform back, Matsuri must adjust to his new lifestyle, while Suzu feels conflicted about her feelings for him.
In this fun parody anime, heroes and demons aren’t part of the simple villager Touka Scott’s world. That is until he accidentally kills the legendary hero!
As demons roam free and attack the village, Touka’s childhood friend, Yuna Eunice, becomes a target and is saved at the last minute by the acclaimed hero, Sion Blandan. Unfortunately, Sion soon dies after accidentally falling into a trap Touka set to defend his radish farm.
Anri Haysworth, Sion’s necromancer companion, secretly transfers Touka's soul into Sion's decaying corpse!
It’s now up to him to stop the demons that threaten peace with zero preparation or skills, but at least he has the assistance of beautiful ladies with nice legs for him to appreciate along his journey.
Café Terrace is one of those adorable harem anime that make fans debate who the main character should end up dating.
Hayato Kasukabe inherits his grandmother's cafe, the Familia Café Terrace. His initial plan was to demolish the place and turn it into a parking lot. But when he discovers grandma has taken in five girls who are fond of her and the store, Hayato changes his mind.
Living life surrounded by beautiful and passionate goddesses, Hayato becomes determined to preserve the precious place where he collected many beautiful childhood memories and where his grandmother lived happily until her final moments.
A new season was announced for 2024, and I can't wait to watch it!
Summer had the most (and the last) ecchi releases in 2023:
With endless naughty jokes, Tenpuru tells the story of Akemitsu Akagami, who grew up suffering because of his family’s bad reputation. Sons of the Akagami lineage are infamous for being heinous playboys.
Determined to clear his family name, Akemitsu fights his instincts to stay away from women and travels to a temple where he can live peacefully. He didn’t know that the temple was a nunnery from which his father had borrowed millions before fleeing!
Akemitsu must learn to control himself in the most brutal way: coexisting with pretty women until he fully pays his massive debt!

Classroom for Heroes was quite fun! It’s a simple anime that starts from where many fantasy stories end.
The demon lord and the legendary hero fight for their lives, deciding the world's future. In the aftermath of the battle, the great hero, Blade, is victorious, although nearly costing him his life. Even though he survives, a significant portion of his strength disappears. This isn’t a big deal for Blade since he can finally be just a regular human and make new friends!
Blade enrolls in the Rosewood Academy, a school only for the most talented heroes in training, and soon, he stands out for his abilities and charisma, surrounding himself with beautiful and clingy girls!
Mushoku Tensei delivered great episodes again in 2023, with the first part of the second season, and Rudeus witnessed or participated in more spicy encounters. Part two begins in April 2024!
The second season begins with a heartbroken and depressed Rudeus. Believing Eris has lost all interest in him, the new goal is to find his mom on the vast continent.
A dangerous experience forces him to snap out of his sorrow, and with new teammates, Rudeus rediscovers the pleasures of adventuring. This allows him to move forward with his original goal of living his second life to the fullest!
Rudeus might not be at his best because of his troublesome love life, but his allies for sure are as horny as ever!
The adaptation by Netflix reached its second season, with expected nearly explicit scenes and gory combat.
The second season takes place 15 years after the banishment of Dark Schneider.
The world faces a new threat, and Tia Noto Yoko awakens him with magic. With his absurd magical powers, Dark Schneider subjugates his enemies one after another, but that’s far from saving the Kingdom of Meta-llicana.
One thing is for sure! Amidst all the adversities, Dark Schneider always finds time to enjoy the company of attractive women, especially when it comes to teasing Yoko!
I liked most of the anime listed above for different reasons. Either for quality of animation, plot, or hot waifus, each show has solid points about them.
I recommend Mushoku Tensei for a well-developed isekai story with deep and more mature issues and sexiness that almost crosses the limits of ecchi. Café Terrace has lovely, beautiful waifus in the best Dating Simulator style.
But the hottest ecchi anime of 2023 is...
I can’t deny that My Life as Inukai-san's Dog, especially the uncensored version, is a hot anime with endless panty shots, bare oppais, and lewd moans; all the episodes are very sexy.
However, most of the ecchi moments come from a dog x human interaction, which is somewhat controversial and prevents it from being number one.
In Ayakashi Triangle, the constant tension between the gender-bent Matsuri and Suzu creates plenty of sexy moments, aside from other (un)fortunate situations the characters found themselves in. This is partly why it’s the hottest ecchi of last year!
Unfortunately, the uncensored episodes are only available on Blu-Ray Disc.
